Section 1
Members will ride in Precise Formation(as road conditions permit)
Members will conduct themselves in such a manner as to reflect credit apon themselves, their
Fire Departments and the Red Knights
Section 2
Members will observe all State/Provincial traffic laws at all times.Execute Signs and Turns
Properly and use common sence at all times
Section 3
Members will keep their Motorcycles in good safe operation condition at all times. Also, when
riding on the road all Motorcycles will be street legal
Section 4
Members should go out of their way to assist the motorcycling public and endeavor to improve
the image of motorcycling and the Red Knights
Section 5
When on Chapter runs, each member will be under the direction of the Road Captain and
his/her assistant requarding formations ,traffic control,route travel, etc. Once assigned a place in formation you will adhere
to that location and not change position unless aproved first with your Road Captain.The Road Captain will give instructions
to all riders prior to the start of the ride .This will include,if known,the name,address and phone number of the destination.When
you arrive at the destination point,check in with the Road Captain
Each member shall make it his/her business to know the route to be taken
Section 6
The Chapter President and Road Captain will keep a riding list, and it is their responsibility
to keep it current,
Section 7
Each member will be allowed to wear the Club uniform and patches whenever he/she is riding
or at other times, but will not do anything to discredit it . No abusive alcoholic beverages or non prescription drugs while
riding a motorcycle and wearing any Red Knights clothing or apparel that will identify that person as a member of the Red
Knights, will be tolerated .The Road Captain has the right to remove a member from the group(ride) if it is believed that
they are under the influence and may pose a hazzard to other members in the group
Section 8
It is requested the all Red Knights insignias ( Club Logos) be removed from any motorcycle,automobile,helmet,clothing
, etc. prior to the sale of the same to a nonmember

If stopped,let your intentions be known to the Road Captain and his/her assistants.The convoy
will be pulled into the nearest and safest rest area and the Captains and/or members he/she designates will return to the
stopped rider.After ascertaining the problem,The Captain will then decide to get the group on its way as soon as possible
and make arrangements to have the stopped rider and his/her bike taken care of
Section 10
Get to know your machine's crusing capacity with reguards to gas.Running out of gas or making
stops with large groups is time consuming.Therefore,everyone will arrive for the rides with a full tank of gasand will top
off their tankat every gas stop,no matter how small the amount,This will avoid staggered gas stops and possible save time
Section 11
Its is strongly urged that on club rides,each member wear his/her club colors.He/she should
also wear the proper clothing when riding
Section 12
While on any ride the Road Captain or his/her assistant will ride in the front .The President
may ride alongside or just behind the road captain depending on the formation in use.In the absence of the road captain and
the assistant ,whoever the captain appoints will ride the point
The assistant captain will ride at the rear unless otherwise decided by the captain.The assistant
will be responsible for holding a lane open while making a lane change .He will also assist any member that may break down
or fall behind .The Captains will act as a team and watch for problems within the group.Watching for all signals and seeing
the need for changes are a major part of the assistants job
Line up for a ride is as follows : Road Captain , President , full color wearing
members ,followed by prospective members ,non members and bringing up the rear the assistant road captain(s)
Strict adherence to these guidelines will provide for a long,successful and saferiding season
