Learn how to Zydeco! This beginning level course will help you learn the basic rhythm and footwork of Zydeco dance. Building on the basic step, you will learn principals of leading and following, partnering techniques and dancing with a partner in open and closed positions. Fun is encouraged! No partner or experience needed. Classes are 5 weeks long.  $50 + $12 registration fee Beginning Cajun Dance October 27 - November 24, 2009 7:30 to 8:30 pm Room 202 Arcade Building  Let the good times roll! Learn how to Cajun dance! This beginning level course will cover basic two-step, waltz, and one-step dances. Emphasis will be on basic footwork and leading and following. Fun is encouraged! No partner or experience needed. Classes are 5 weeks long.  $50 + $12 registration fee Intermediate Zydeco, Gulfcoast Swing and Zydeco Blues No classes scheduled currently Take a little of the swinging Cajun Jitterbug and mix it with the grounded Zydeco syncopation,  stir it up and Gulf Coast Swing will get your groove on!A playful dance with Zydeco style infusion.  Learn how to slow down your Zydeco dance groove and dance to the Zydeco Blues as well.
