Permitting.
Game 11:
Loser of Game 9 vs. Winner of Game 10 (5:45 pm start)
*Winner gets automatic bid to the State Tournament
Game 12:
Winner of Game 9 vs. Winner of Game 11 (8:30 pm start)
*Winner will enter the State Tournament #1 in Zone II
*Loser will enter the State Tournament #2 in Zone II
Rules of the Zone Tournament:
1. Pitchers are limited
to 12 innings or 4 appearances in any 3 consecutive days.
2. A list of innings
pitched and pitchers availability will be given to your team.
3. All games will be
9 innings and official after 61/2 or 7 innings have been played.
4. Ten Run Rule will
be in effect after 61/2 or 7 innings have been played.
5. No Reentry
6. Home Team for Game
5 and Games 8-12 will be decided by a coin flip.
7. Home Team for all
other games will go to the higher seed.
8. The 1B dugout will
be the home dugout throughout the tournament.
9. Games 1 + 2: Home
Team will pay HP umpire, Visitor will pay base umpire - $50
10. Seeds 1-4 will pay a $50 fee for the tournament
to help pay for umpires.
11. Each team will need to provide 9 game balls
for the tournament (D1-AL).
12. No games can be played after Tuesday July
29th, if the tournament is not finished the two remaining higher seeds will advance to the State Tournament, the
highest seed will go as the zone champion the other seed will be the runner-up.
13. A game fee will be charged as follows: $4.00/Adult,
$2.00/students and seniors.
14. Two regular season forfeits eliminates you
from this tournament.
15. Players and coaches will be expected to
be in uniform if in the dugout with their patches on their uniform shirts.
