TRINCA AND MYSTIC

Trinca arrived @ the Ark when she was less than 24 hours old. Her mom had triplets but since a coyote had injured her udder there was no way she could take care of all three lambs. Going along with the Paso Fino tradition, her name means triplet in Spanish. She was immediately adopted by our 4 yr old black lab, Reese. Unfortunately by the time Trinca was 9 months old, we lost Reese to Lyme's disease.

Trinca was raised in the house in diapers and bottle fed until she became too large for the house. At that point we had to find her a pal, which is where Mystic comes into the picture. Mystic came from the same farm as Trinca. She is part Hair sheep. At first Trinca was scared to death of Mystic. Guess she'd never seen a black sheep before. Now they are best buddies.

Just like the first child, the first lamb always has more pictures too.
