House Pets

This page is dedicated to the loving pets that have touched our lives during their often too short stays.

CubCrackPole.jpg

Cubbie was Sprocket's brother. Unfortunately we could never break him of crossing the road to explore and he was hit by a car.

Riley8_18.JPG

Riley was a Jardine Parrot that I only had for less than a year. He was a sweet little thing. While transporting from the farm to my home in Rome he escaped and flew away, never to be seen again. I like to think he has flown to a warm climate and is now living with a wife and several little Rileys.

Reese was a Black Lab that was struck with Lyme's disease at the age of 4 and the diagnosis was not in time to save her. She will always be missed here.

And now on to our loving pets here with us now.

LutinoF.JPG

Meet Morning Dawn, a yr old female, fancy, Lutino cockateil.

Dawn and Dusk are a mated pair and are now sitting of their first clutch of eggs. As you can see in this picture taken Jan 11, 2009, there are five eggs.

BlizzardCopper.JPG

When we lost Reese to Lyme's disease, Blizzard agreed that we needed to find a new dog. Copper is a Redbone Coon Hound/Black Lab mix that we adopted from a shelter in December 2007.

This is Evening Dusk, also a yr old, male, fancy cockateil.
