Spiritual Gifts Open The Way

When believers concentrate their efforts to minister in those areas where they have special abilities and talents--spiritual gifts--they are almost certain to experience increased effectiveness and a deeper sense of personal satisfaction. There are several reasons for this: A spiritual gift calls forth a sense of mission. A spiritual gift creates some degree of skill. A spiritual gift stimulates enthusiasm and vision. A spiritual gift will provide added strength.

Every believer has a spiritual gift. In fact, every believer has one dominant gift and other gifts that support it.

Your spiritual gifts determine "what" you do in ministry. Your personality will determine "how" you serve. The exciting promise is that when you are truly serving within your God-given giftedness you will experience incredible joy and energy from serving. Serving is intended to be a joy, never drudgery. When we are connected to Him, as the branch is connected to the vine, the Lord multiplies our efforts 30, 60, even 100 times. You are designed to be a part of the Body of believers, serving within your giftedness, for maximum impact on the world.
