The Deception of Mental Illness

"Mental illness" is probably the most widespread and gross deception foisted on the world. There is no such thing!

We feel sure that in reading this article there will be outrage among many people. After all, who are we to come against all the great learning and knowledge of the professionals who administer counseling and treatment to the millions of people, worldwide, who suffer from this problem? Apart from being God's children and His servants, called to set people free from bondage to demons and to preach the gospel, we are nobodies.

Before we go further, we need to point something out. Due to an altercation with a parent whose child suffers from autism, we need to clarify matters because this parent was extremely angry with us. She had wrongly assumed that we were saying her child was demon-possessed.

We emphatically state that autism is not a "mental illness" and has nothing to do with demon-possession. It is a brain malfunction among many kinds. The problem arises when autism is wrongly classified as a "mental illness."

During the summer of 2007 an article in Discover magazine said that a doctor has successfully treated autism almost to the point of complete cure, with diet. Apparently, some children are allergic to certain foods or the chemicals in the foods. The doctor was the family physician to a woman with two boys, both of whom were diagnosed as being autistic. She was devastated "to the point of suicide" according to the article. The doctor said that autism is wrongly labelled as a "mental illness."

In all of our dealings with over 6,600 people, we have never had to deal with any victims of autism. This bears out what the Discover article said.

Hollywood has produced movies about demons and exorcisms and painted some very gruesome pictures of what they think demons look like. Any parent who has seen such movies and then considers what we say about demon-possession, would obviously be upset because they see no such manifestation in their child as was shown in movies such as "The Exorcist." They take extreme offense at what we say, yet do not really understand the situation. The altercation which we mentioned led to a very nasty situation in which a number of people directed a lot of ridicule and hatred at us after the parent created an angry scene in a forum which had nothing to do with any kind of ministry.

What we are saying is, because we are spiritual beings we are affected by spiritual things, even other spiritual beings. All the people we have helped were not aware of any spirits in them, and were astonished that we would tell them such a thing. Yet when the session is over, they know beyond all doubt that something left them and that their depressions, nightmares, sleepless nights and other problems are over.

Have we had "professional" training in "mental illness"?  The answer to that is "No." Conversely, have the "mental health professionals" had any training in spiritual matters? Apparently not. (Church membership and attendance are not spiritual training.)

Have we spent hundreds of hours in a classroom of a highly reputable college to earn our degrees as psychologists? Again, the answer is "No." Conversely, have the "mental health professionals" spent many hundreds of hours in spiritual deliverance as we have? Obviously not.

Jesus, who was noted for casting out demons, did not spend hundreds of hours in a college to learn about "mental illness" or demon-deliverance. Where is the man who will teach God? Jesus was God incarnate who had come to do the work of God and to teach others how to do this. He never even touched on the subject of "mental illness," so was He wrong? Does God not know what ails people? Is it only the "professionals" who know anything about "mental illness" despite the fact they can't cure anyone?

Surely, then, you might think, that it is we who are deceived. Again, the answer to that is "No."

Then how on earth do we justify our claim? Quite simply: For something to be ill it must be biological in nature; it must have cells. The human body is made up of millions of cells. When a virus attacks the cells, the body becomes ill. The mind has no cells to be attacked by a virus. The mental process is abstract and cannot be touched by anything to make it ill. For sure the brain may be damaged and unable to function properly, but brain injuries may be seen by doctors. With the high number of people in the world who are considered to be "mentally ill," it seems most unlikely that they are all suffering from brain damage. The late Dr. D. James Kennedy, senior pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, Florida, first brought this matter to my attention in a TV broadcast about fifteen years ago. It wasn't until God steered me into this ministry in 2001 that I first began to encounter those who had been diagnosed as "mentally ill."

Most psychiatrists agree that "mental illness" is brought about by trauma; that is, through sexual and/or physical and/or verbal abuse. We do agree with them on that matter but from this point onward we disagree with them on the nature of the beast. So what do we call it? "Demon possession!"

It seems that many people believe that demons were the imaginings of medieval minds, or that they died out in the middle ages. There is nothing to support such ideas. On the contrary, Scripture shows us that Jesus gives His authority to every born-again Christian to cast demons out of those who are possessed (Mark 16:17).  The only reasons that so many Christians don't exercise their authority over the spirits is that they are either afraid or have no faith.

Demons are a society within a society. They co-exist with us and are able to enter and take control of us. This often happens to people who are abused in any way, no matter what their age. They also have a right to enter us through our own sins. In particular, sexual sin seems to be the most prevalent in the world. God forbids all kinds of sexual sin such as fornication, adultery, homosexual sex, sex within the family, sex with children or animals. Even pornography (which is adultery according to Jesus) leads to demon possession. According to a news article in the summer of 2006, "half of Americans are indulging in pornography." This being so, it means that half of Americans are demon-possessed just from this one thing.

The bible tells us to be "self-controlled." If we are not then something else will enter and control us. This is then manifested as "mental illness."  All kinds of bizarre behaviour then exhibit themselves in the possessed person.

Since 2001, we have cast demons out of many "mentally ill" people and they are completely healed. It usually takes less than one hour and the person can throw out their medication and/or be released from the hospital or psychiatric care. We achieve in minutes what the mental health "professionals" cannot achieve in a lifetime. And Jesus, the Christ, is the answer.

The first time we did this, we helped a child in a Virginia mental hospital who had not talked for about ten years. Bear in mind we communicate spiritually with the people we help, so hearing her talk was not a problem. While we were helping her, it was around 2 a.m. and her doctor walked into the room. He was amazed to hear her talking from her mouth. He began to talk to us and we helped him, too, because he was a Warlock (male witch).  Following this, nine more children came to us from that same hospital. We saw the wisdom of God, in this, that the children had a doctor who now understood the truth of their problems.

Soon after the ten children were set free, the government sent a psychiatrist to investigate us. This man was also set free from the torment of spirits who had troubled him since he was a child. He had been severely abused.

So why hasn't this amazing news hit the media? Wouldn't you think if a cure was found for "mental illness" that many thousands would be pleased to hear it?  They would, indeed, but there are some very powerful people who make a lot of money from the deception of "mental illness." The pharmaceutical companies, alone, make billions of dollars a year from the sale of their drugs used to help the "mentally ill."  One company, alone, makes 4.2 billion dollars a year from just one drug which has been proven to cause diabetes and high blood pressure. The company has been covering this up for a long time. That's a vast amount of cash to lose every year if the truth about "mental illness" was published for everyone to know.

There are also some doctors (not all of them) who make a lucrative living from their profession, and would not want to have to admit to the truth (if they believed it) and get another job. We have discussed this issue with many doctors, now, and they have all been astonished to realize what it is all about. These are good-hearted men and women who want to help people. They do this to the best of their ability. Some are now doing it in a new way - the spiritual way, and it's working, thanks be to our God and Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
