The bottom line is: The use of pornography leads to demon possession!
That is an astounding statement but I hope you will bear with me while
I explain.
In order to explain the problem with pornography we must go back to when
God first created humans. To the first couple - Adam and Eve - He gave this command: "Be fruitful and increase in number."
--Genesis 1:27, 28. NIV.
In order to increase in number God had to give mankind a reproductive system.
This is why He made us male and female. When the sex act takes place, a permanent spiritual union is formed.
"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united
to his wife, and they will become one flesh." --Genesis 2:24.
The spirits of the male and female become one spirit, permanently joined
for the remainder of their days on the earth. It is because of this permanent joining that God forbids adultery and fornication.
See what God says about adultery:
"Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery,
and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery." --Luke
16:18 NIV
If a man leaves his wife just because they can't get along, together, and
marries another woman, as long as his first wife still lives, he commits adultery with his new wife. If his first wife remarries,
she commits adultery with her new husband. So just because two married people decide to ignore their wedding vow and marry
somebody else, four people are now committing adultery. Obviously they don't know it because they don't know God who created
them. Nevertheless, they are still living in sin. God does not accept the divorce arrangement granted by the courts.
You may argue that thousands of couples live this way. That may be so but
that does not make it right. It just shows that thousands of couples are living in sin. Some don't even marry but just shack
up. This is fornication yet a spiritual bond still takes place. When they separate and take up with another, they are living
in adultery. The more sex partners they have, the more bonds they create, and these bonds are unholy, unlike the lawful marriage
bond that is holy. Not only is there a corrupt spiritual bond but demons now have the right to enter the partners. The more
sex partners a person has, the more demons enter them.
People can make whatever excuses they want but it still remains that their
first marriage partner will be a permanent part of them. Okay, so they didn't know what they were doing when they first married.
They married in haste or because they had to, but this doesn't alter the fact of the spiritual bond they created.
I hope that I have now established the point of the spiritual bond formed
when the sex act takes place. Let us move on to see what else God says about adultery, and how easily it happens:
"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already
committed adultery with her in his heart". --Matt 5:28 NIV
Now you may say, "Well, that applies to just about everyone!" You would
be right! Adultery begins in the heart, not in the bed. Yet we still have a choice. If we notice a sexually attractive person,
we can either continue to look and lust or we can apply our minds to something else. If one chooses to continue lusting, then
that person is committing adultery.
Pornography is designed to do one thing: Incite sexual lust! It means that
when a person uses pornography (usually masturbating over it) they are committing adultery with every person they lust after.
This applies whether the medium be a magazine, movie, or photographs.
Spirits (also known as demons) are in this same world with us and are a
part of it. They watch us. God has set boundaries for them so they cannot just enter anyone they wish, but they have a right
to enter when they see us sinning. Sin is rebellion against God and his commands. The more we sin, the worse things become,
until pornography takes control of us. This is why people are addicted to it. Sexual addiction is a known fact but it is not
generally known that it is a spiritual problem.
To illustrate the effect of pornography we will give you an example of
two teen males. The cases are not connected. The first was crying when we spoke to him. He said he lives in a small town where
everyone knows everyone else. He went into a donut shop where three women were present. The next thing he knew was, they were
calling the police to him because his pants were around his ankles and he was masturbating. He quickly dressed himself and
ran home. Now he is afraid to show his face in town. He said he doesn't even know why he did it. We asked him about sexual
abuse as a child. There was none. He said he had never even had sex with a girl. So we asked him about pornography. He admitted
that he views it on his computer. That's all it took for the demons to enter and control him. He was only seventeen when this
happened. It doesn't take years of porn use before it takes hold of a person. We cast out his demons and he said he will stay
away from porn from now on.
The second case involved a 16-year old male who had just gotten his driver
license the day we talked to him. He was excited and called his friends to meet him at the pizza shop at seven o'clock that
evening. He got there a little early and waited in the shop for them. Suddenly, he heard the proprietor shouting at him and
telling him to get out of his shop. It was then he realized his pants were around his ankles and he was masturbating. Again,
this young man was into pornography on the Internet.
Most of us have heard about flashers... the men who expose themselves in
public. Many of them, once they've been caught, still continue to expose themselves, despite psychological counseling and
court fines. They can't help it. Why? Because they were into pornography and were now being controlled by spirits who had
entered them. The bible tells us to be self-controlled. The idea is, if we don't, then something else will control us.
How about pedophiles? No person suddenly decides, one day, to become a
pedophile. Such people have been taken over by demons who now control them. Even homosexuals are possessed by spirits. For
the homosexual who wants to be free, all that is necessary is to cast out his/her demons and they will be normal. By 'normal'
I mean heterosexual, the way God made them when they first came into the world. God condemns the homosexual sex act. He calls
it a 'perversion' (Romans 1:24-27) and an 'offense' (1 Corinthians 6:9) He does not create people as homosexuals, as some
claim, and then condemn their sex lives.
For many years the psychological profession labeled homosexuality as a
'mental illness.' In later years they removed that label from it. Despite what they say and teach, God is still the author
of our creation, and what He said thousands of years ago still applies, today.
God has brought many homosexuals and other sexual offenders to us and they
have all been set free from the demons. We have no failures if they want to be free. God has brought families to us, where
a child came to us, first, then the father or mother (in most cases the father). In some cases the fathers had no idea what
they were doing to their little daughters, and when we informed them, we then had the job of persuading them not to kill themselves.
It is almost more than the human spirit can bear. Not all of these men were into pornography, but had been sexually abused
as children.
Sexual sin is - in our opinion - one of the world's biggest problems. According
to a news report in the summer of 2006, half of Americans are into pornography. Then there are those who are into sexual sin
but do not use pornography. So it would seem that most of the population is heading for some serious trouble.
Some of those we have helped - on being set free - have asked: "Must I
give up sex, then?" The answer is: "Yes, if you want to stay free or get married and have lawful sex." Some are overwhelmed
with this idea that they give it up. Everyone must choose what they want. They don't want demons but they want to continue
having sex with more than one permanent partner.
Perhaps pornography may not sound that bad to you. After all, nobody knows
they have demons, do they? No, most people don't, but they know they have a problem. We cannot overemphasize the danger of
pornography. Some of you may remember Ted Bundy who murdered a number of sorority sisters over several years. On the night
before he was placed in the electric chair, he confessed to Dr. James Dobson that his problem began with pornography. Nobody
is immune to the effects of porn.
