In our page on ‘Mental Illness’ we mention homosexual sin, among other sexual sins. We are aware that many people read our website and that some may be offended that we regard homosexual sex as a sin. We have created this page to reveal some of the hidden details on this, now worldwide, controversial issue. It is also in response to an angry psychiatrist who needs help but will not allow us to help her. (See the page on "Mental Illness"). This is not to embarrass anyone but to try to make clear to others some of the problems involved in sexual sin.

First of all we must emphasize that although we believe homosexual sex is offensive to God and to many heterosexuals, we do not stand in judgment of the homosexual, regardless of what some may think. We number hundreds of homosexuals among those we have helped over the years. God arranges every one of our appointments (we do not advertise or seek out people to help). If homosexuality is okay then it would beg the question of why God brings them to us for deliverance.

Just as there are radicals in any group, the homosexual community also has them. They are the ones who, initially, have labelled anyone who disagrees with their sex life as ‘homophobic’ and ‘a bigot.’ The word ‘homophobic’ means a fear of homosexuals. We know of nobody who fears them, so the word is totally out of place. Everybody, regardless of sexual attributes, has likes and dislikes. Some things are accepted and others are not. Yet this does not make somebody a bigot because they do not accept something. We don’t accept adultery and fornication, too, but using their logic, that would make us bigots. Those who condemn us as bigots and homophobes, therefore, obviously want us to believe what they believe or suffer their wrath. On the other hand, these same radicals do not believe all that we believe, yet they would never consider themselves to be bigots. Their rhetoric is one-sided.

As a young male, around the age of eleven, I first learned of homosexuals from other boys who were talking about it. At that time I had no idea about sexuality and was completely ignorant of the sex act. As I listened to their description of what homosexuals do to one another, I was totally repulsed. I wasn’t sure whether or not to believe them. At the same time, their talk of heterosexual sex did not bother me. My repulsion toward homosexual sex, I have since learned, was a natural one which is instilled in every person from the time of their conception and remains with them unless something happens to pervert their spirit.

Some homosexuals firmly believe they were created as such, and we will not enter into any arguments about such a belief. However, we stand firm in the knowledge that all humans are created heterosexual, just as they stand firm on their belief that they were gay from birth.

God is the Creator of humankind. He has much to say about homosexual sex. Can the one who created us be wrong about what He has created? Let us take a look at some scriptures which God has given to the world:

Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, "Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him."

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Despite those scriptures, some homosexuals claim that the bible says absolutely nothing about homosexual sex. Why, though, would God create a person to be homosexual and then condemn their sex life if it is moral?

Some of these same homosexuals claim to be Christian. I personally know of two such "Christian" men who frequently write to a local paper on homosexual issues and who emphatically state that the bible is silent on the homosexual issue.

Why, then, do we make an issue of this one aspect of man’s sinfulness when there are so many other issues at stake? God has made it clear that He does not want anyone to go into hell, yet He also says (in that last verse) that the homosexual will not enter heaven. Neither do we want anyone to go to hell, which explains why we serve God in this capacity each night, and free of charge. We do not seek to enrich ourselves by what we do.

There is much to the issue of the sex act that very few ministers, counsellors or anyone else seems to be aware of. Least of all do people understand that the sexual union actually unites the spirits of heterosexual married couples in a permanent bond for the rest of their lives. It is a holy bond established by God. This is why God forbids adultery and fornication. A man who cheats on his wife actually joins himself, spiritually, to his extra partner in an unholy spiritual bond. Such a bond may be broken during deliverance but we cannot touch the bond of a lawful marriage. The more sex partners a person has, the more corrupt becomes his/her spirit. It also gives entrance to the spirits whom we must cast out through deliverance.

Apart from adultery, fornication and homosexual sex, God forbids sex with family members (it leads to inbreeding), sex with children, and sex with animals. Yet people do all of these things. It doesn’t matter whether one is religious or not because we are all affected by these things.

When children are sexually abused, even though they are innocent, their spirit is corrupted through an unlawful sex act, that is through being molested. The spirit of the abuser is now unlawfully joined with the child, and it does not take an act of full sex to do it; fondling has the same effect. This is why sexually abused people of all ages have problems, either right away or later in life. Some end up in mental institutions. Medication and counselling do precious little to help the person, and does absolutely nothing to deal with the spiritual aspect of the problem.

In attempting to help people who have been sexually abused, psychiatrists use counselling and/or medication in their treatment. However, spirits do not respond to counselling and medication. Deliverance is the only answer. Every person that we help is one-hundred percent healed. No further doctor visits are necessary, and they can toss their medication. Conversely, psychiatrists can cure nobody.

One of the results of sexual abuse is that the abused person becomes homosexual, either male of female as the case may be. This is not the only way, though. Sexual experimentation as a juvenile may also cause the same problem. We have also dealt with cases where a man’s wife dies and he begins an homosexual relationship with a close friend. The bereaved seeks comfort and consolation and finds it in a male friend who comes to help. From that point on, many such males become trapped in that kind of relationship.

Further to God’s condemnation of the aforementioned sexual sins, He condemns pornography. No, the bible does not mention it, anywhere, but Jesus did deal with the issue: "Anyone who looks at a woman, lustfully, is already guilty of adultery in his heart." - Matthew 5:28. Pornography has but one purpose: to incite sexual lust, which it does very well. Every picture or video that a man looks at and lusts over, is an act of adultery, and this brings its own problems, too. This is one of the times when spirits (demons) enter a person engaged in sexual sin. According to a news media poll in 2006, fifty-percent of Americans are using pornography.

We have helped many men who expose themselves in public, even masturbating in public. Some of them tell us that they don’t even remember doing it. All they know is they are being arrested and taken before a judge. Every one of these men has one thing in common: pornography! The reason they don’t remember exposing themselves is because their demons have taken control of their own spirit. We speak from ministry experience, not guesswork.

These men, when caught, are ordered to receive psychiatric counselling. We have asked some of these men what kind of counselling was offered. In one case the psychiatrist told the man to "have a cup of tea" each time he feels like exposing himself. Another man was detained for treatment in a mental hospital. His therapy consisted of spending two hours a day making leather goods such as belts and purses. The mental health professionals had reasoned that if his hands were kept busy he wouldn’t be able to masturbate in public.

The deeper you go into pornography, the worse things become, even leading to rape, pedophilia, and murder. Several years ago, Ted Bundy was put to death in the electric chair for murdering several sorority sisters. On the eve of his execution he was interviewed by minister Dr. James Dobson. Ted confessed that his problems began with pornography. Despite the links between pornography and sexual crime and murders, the U.S. Supreme Court decided that porn is protected speech covered by the first amendment to the Constitution. That is utter nonsense! Pornography is a perversion! It has nothing to do with speech, despite the ruling by those who ought to know better.

So what does all this have to do with homosexuality? Many of the people who come to us for help were sexually abused as children, and pornography played a part in the abuser’s life. Our whole point of this writing is to show that the sex act is a spiritual act, not just a physical one.

As many have now learned, the Roman Catholic church has experienced a considerable amount of sexual abuse by some of their priests. One of the problems leading up to this is the fact that a priest is forbidden to marry. The bible calls this "the doctrine of demons." (see the article on "The Roman Catholic Church.") We were created by God with a natural sexual instinct and desire. Used correctly it is a blessing. Misused and it becomes a curse. The bible says that it is better for a man to marry than to burn with lust. So you see the problems that forced celibacy has caused.

We do not know the current statistics on suicide but it used to be that homosexuals had the highest rate of suicide. This brings about the death of the body but not the soul which is who we really are. Some homosexuals absolutely want to be the way they are and will not accept being healed by God through deliverance. Others come to us, desperate for help. They get it, and are no longer homosexual once we have completed our work with them. And God is glorified!
