Family Musical Talent - LEIA MANUEL
The Zevgolis side of my family (paternal) has always had alot of musical talent. My
Papou, Greek Orthodox Archimandrite Stephanos Zevgolis, had a beautiful voice which he used to enhance his church performances,
and his son (my father Polycratis) was known as a talented Greek Orthodox Church Cantor. And today in Greece you'll
find the noted singer Matthew Zevgolis & Zevgolis classical musicians as well as village musical performers and recording
artists in Apiranthos, Naxos.
This Zevgolis musical talent is evident here in the U.S. with
my brother Tony Zevgolis and nephew George Zevgolis burning up the karaoke circuit. And just recently, I've discovered
that my great niece LEIA MANUEL (lay-uh Man-well) is found on the Internet singing songs that she has composed and produced
in her basement studio. Please check her out at
