From New Englnad Masters Email News of October 31:
Subject: NEM Enews - October 31, 2007
NEM Swimmers,
The Concord Masters Mini Meet, held on Sunday October 21, 2007, was a sold out affair. 100 swimmers competed in the new state of the art facility, in it's first, and hopefully not last, Masters swim meet. With beautiful windows to let in the light of a cloudless day, swimmers were treated to an extremely well executed meet that started right on time, and finished one full hour ahead of schedule. Many thanks to meet director Catherine Greenwald, Kim Donovan and all the others that helped to make this meet a success. For results go to: http://www.swimnem.org/wordpress/race-results/

Debriefing by Li-Jen

It was a great team work! A total of 32 swimmer and diver athletes showed up to time and count laps for the 100 or so master swimmers.
Two high shcool MIAA Referees: Keith Meliones and Mike Foley generously donated their time to be the official referees and starters of this meet.
Beede Aquatic Superviser, Jill Grosso and Aquatic Specialists Megan and Erin have done a superb job in running the meet.
Beede Aquatic Director, Karen Houghton, has prograssively staffed and prepared the Beede Center through out the preceeding week for this unprecedented event at Beede.

The support and assistance we received for this fundraiser were truely immeasurable.
All these good wills and the interests of the master swimmers brought in over $2,000 proceeds for the scoreboard maintenance fund! Thank you very much!
