I. Course Description: World Religions.  Exploring the way that others practice their faith.  Comparing and contrasting their beliefs with Christianity, we will gain understanding and appreciation for our world's diversity. 

II. Grading:

Grades will be based on the following:

1. Homework, quizzes and tests

2. Participation and cooperation

3. Projects (group and individual)

III. Class Materials:

The following are the required materials for class:

1. Textbook-Wolrd Religions

2. notebook-(1) used for this class only

3. (1) two-pocket folder-used for Religion ONLY

4. (2) pens-blue or black ink only, and (1) sharpened #2 pencil

5. Loose leaf paper (not torn out from your notebook!!)

IV. Classroom Rules:

1. RESPECT-for the teacher, each other, and the room       

2. Be on time, and be prepared, and always do your best

3. No speaking unless you have been called on

4. Do not leave your seat without permission

5. Obey all student handbook regulations
