I. Course Description: Morality.  The Catholic teachings on morality as taught by Jesus.  We will explore the truths handed down regarding our way of life, and our choices of right and wrong.  Through use of media, internet, and periodical references, students will see how our daily lives are affected by choices, and how morality helps direct those choices.

 

II. Grading:

Grades will be based on the following:

1. Homework, quizzes and tests

2. Participation and cooperation

3. Projects (group and individual)

III. Class Materials:

The following are the required materials for class:

1. Textbook-Our Moral Life in Christ

2. notebook-(1) used for this class only

3. (1) two-pocket folder-used for Religion ONLY

4. (2) pens-blue or black ink only, and (1) sharpened #2 pencil

5. Loose leaf paper (not torn out from your notebook!!)

IV. Classroom Rules:

1. RESPECT-for the teacher, each other, and the room       

2. Be on time, and be prepared, and always do your best

3. No speaking unless you have been called on

4. Do not leave your seat without permission

5. Obey all student handbook regulations
