I. Course Description: We will be exploring Catholicism.  Learning the traditions, history, and practices that set Catholics apart as the Church founded and strengthened by Jesus Christ.

 

II. Grading:

Grades will be based on the following:

1. Homework, quizzes and tests

2. Participation and cooperation

3. Projects (group and individual)

III. Class Materials:

The following are the required materials for class:

1. Textbook-Introduction to Catholicism

2. notebook-(1) 3 subject used for this class only

3. (1) two-pocket folder-used for Religion ONLY

4. (2) pens-blue or black ink only, and(1) sharpened #2 pencil

5. Loose leaf paper (not torn out from your notebook!!)

6. journal (this notebook will be provided for you)

IV. Classroom Rules:

1. RESPECT-for the teacher, each other, and the room       

2. Be on time, and be prepared, and always do your best

3. No speaking unless you have been called on

4. Do not leave your seat without permission

5. Obey all student handbook regulations
