PLEASE SUPPORT THIS WORTHWHILE PROJECT!
If you would like to help make a mind expanding realitiy movie and bring into public
awareness the hidden subject of Jewish prisoners, then please donate. Our film humanizes them and their families. If you would
like to explore crime and drug addiction through a Jewish lens and the accompanying powerful themes of love, betrayal, forgiveness, transformation
and redemption, then please support this ground breaking film. It will raise peoples' consciousness and viewers
will never be the same!
We have profound, powerful and rare footage and unprecedented access into several
prisons.
We need monetary donations, frequent flyer miles and hotel points.
The film is non-profit. Tax deductable donations can be made SECURELY on-line
or by mail.
Another great way to help with the project would be to host a fundraising
house party or other fundraising event. Please contact us. We will let you know how to do this.
Also, please let people know about the project who would be interested in helping
to make a difference!
RETURN (TESHUVA) is designed for worldwide film festivals, theatrical
distribution, broadcast and internet download, and will therefore, reach a wide audience. In addition, there will be a large
educational outreach campaign to cultural and religious groups, universities and prison corrections officials.
Film is one of the most powerful mediums today that changes peoples'
consciousness and expands not only their minds, but their worlds. RETURN (TESHUVA) is
a character-based film that will have a profound effect on people and a long shelf-life. Its' themes are universal.
You can make a difference.
RETURN (TESHUVA) needs your support. Please make a tax-deductible
donation and be as generous as you can.
We have already flown back and forth five times to film, but we need funds
to continue to film through December, 2009.
We also need funds to start editing as soon as possible. We have lined up a multiple
Emmy-award winning editor, who will come on board, pending our receiving funds.
It is getting more difficult to fund independent films. The documentaries that you see
on television, in theaters, on DVDs and on the internet are funded mostly through grants and private donors such as you. It
is harder these days to get grant money. Therefore, most independent films are funded by private donors.
Please click on the "DONATE" button to make a secure, on-line donation.
If you would like to donate by mail, kindly make your check out to our 501 (c) 3, non-profit
sponsor, IFP/NY and write "RETURN (TESHUVA)" in the notaion. Please mail your check to: Rhonda Moskowitz, Shining Light
Productions, 43 Algonquin Road, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467.
Thank you for your support.
