Thirty-five years ago, I began to transcribe Scott Joplin's piano rags so that I could play them on my classical guitar.  Over the years, as my appreciation of Bach's music developed, I transcribed many of his keyboard works for guitar.  Other classic works have joined the collection, and I've composed many original guitar pieces that I think you'll find worth a listen and fun to play.

When I retired from the work world, I found myself with a large inventory of pencil manuscripts.  Thanks to contemporary  music notation programs, I can now produce great-looking sheet music to share with you.

I am the sole copyright holder for the original works.  The transcriptions and arrangements are of public domain compositions, except for a few popular song arrangements.  You may use the free scores as you wish, as long as you don't claim my work as your own.

The PDF files are reproduced from music scores created with the Finale 2008 notation program.

Every score has an accompanying MP3 audio file for listening and/or saving.  All have a synthesizer version and many have live versions also.

The number of available scores will increase as long as I can keep augmenting them with updated editions and new additions.  Eventually you should find about a hundred free guitar scores available for download.

Ma guitare et moi,
nous ne nous quittons pas.
