Hello and welcome to my web site. I have been teaching dressage and a balanced seat to beginners through Second level students
for about 9 years now. When I discovered dressage early in my riding about 16 years ago I fell in love with the beauty and
elegance of the sport in an art form. I love animals, the outdoors, playing sports, and dancing. Dressage has all of those
things in one package. Then after seeing freestyles (kurs) for the first time, I knew dressage was my calling. To see a horse
and rider dance together to music is very compelling and touched me deeply. Even without the music, I strive to ride a horse
with the same harmony as dancing and pass that skill along to my students.
I am fully insured and ARIA Dressage Level II certified. I am currently teaching and training in the Pan Handle of West
Virginia including Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan counties. I am also available in Washington county Maryland since I board
in that area. Northern Virginia and counties neighboring the Hagerstown, MD area are convenient for me as well. See my contact
section for my email to inquire about my rates and any questions that you may have.

Equestrian art, however, is something else which involves complete harmony between horse and rider, and that makes the rider
feel that there have been moments of beauty and greatness which make a flight possible from all that is ordinary and mediocre.

This is my lovely Thoroughbred, D'Artagnan. I got him as a 6 year old off the race track. He is 15 now and I have trained
and shown him through Second Level. Including a First Level Freestyle as well. We are currently schooling Second and Third
level. He has taught me more than any human has or any other horse I have ridden. The horse can truly be the best instructor
when you learn to listen to them.
