We hold sacred the heritage and tradition entrusted to us by our forefathers in preserving the use of long rifles.  Therefore, the purpose of this organization shall be to encourage and develop interest and facilities for muzzleloading shooting.  This organization shall be non-profit.  It shall be the aim of its members to become proficient in the use of muzzleloading weapons for all legal purposes.  Furthermore, the purpose of this organization is to encourage and sponsor educational programs designed to inform our members and citizens in the safe handling and safe use of muzzleloading weapons, to oppose any amendment or act of legislature that may deprive a law abiding citizen the right to possess, own or bear firearms in accord with the Constitution of the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
