Well as the season came to an end Bobby Jr. got alot of experience and done very well for his rookie season. He definately will be more competeive next year, as we will have the right engine program for what he wants to do. I think he fininshed 24th in points (beating me at 26th) on a GOOD note.... Brandon has won the Modified Big Wheel Championship. So there is at least one champion in the family. We are all so proud of him... WAY TO GO BRANDON!!!!   CONGRATS  KIDDO!!!    All that's left is the US OPEN...  in 2 weeks. it's been a long year...

I didn't run again this week. Haven't been feeling well lately. Bobby Jr has been showing signs of having the experience to run up front, but was invovled in a accident which put him out of the race, ripping the rear end out of the car. Brandon got 3rd in he Big Wheels and retained the lead again.  We have tons of work to do if we are going to be ready for the US Open...

Once again I did not race this weekend. Bobby Jr. on the other hand did very well, starting pole in the heat and finishing 4th.... Starting pole AGAIN in the feature and finishing 13th. He is doing EXCELLANT in his rookie year I'm so PROUD!!!!...... Brandon showed up late for the Big Wheels.. (not really, they started early) but was still leading in points... and oh yeah.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHAEL!!!!!

I haven't been racing in over 3 weeks now. my tow vehicle blew its motor and I have no way in getting the car out. On the other hand Bobby Jr. has been running, but still is having engine power issues. He is still driving great though. We'll figure it out..... next week.... 

Got car painted and have new paint scheme. Started race next to Bobby in 24th position. had no incidents and I finished 18th and Bobby finished 25th. They ran no heats or Big Wheel races this week. 

Oh yeah... My Grandson Brandon won his first Big Wheel of the year . I'm so proud of him. He was so happy...

My car is STILL not done. (next week) Bobby Jr. ran another respectable race finishing 18th. He's still learning.. At least he puts the car on the trailer in one piece every week. Still a good run for only his 4th time out. Her's gettin' there...

My car is still not ready.(still hanging a new body and getting painted) My son ran yet another respectable race starting 23rd and finishing 17th. I think he's finally getting used to the track and the car. He got 19th last week. He wasn't even lapped this week. Not bad for his 3rd race ever. My grandson Brandon got 2nd in the Big Wheel Race.   

I didn't race tonight due to an accident I was involved in last week. Nothing but a wreckfest last week, with 27 cars starting and 15 finishing.  Major front and rear end damage. Bent the frame in the rear and needed a new front clip. Should be out on 6/9... My son Bobby (Jr) ran his first race ever tonight and ended up a respectable 20th out of 23 cars. He started 23rd. Not to shabby for the first time ever in a race car. He will only get better with more time and experience..

Started 2nd row inside for the heat. They were only taking top 4 from heat and had a couple faster cars behind me so finished 5th. Started 13th in feature and finished 16th. Car handled really good, but the motor is tired. Only 23 cars showed up this week.  

Got 3rd in the heat. Started 4th row inside. was running 7th when i was taking out in turn 2 by the # 73. Ended up 15th. Car had a little push. 

Car ran good. started 24th. Had a little incident with the #13 when he spun in front of me in turn 4. Fell back a couple positions but had a decent finish at 11th.  

The season hasn't started yet, but i will keep you updated as the year goes on. thanx...
