Halloween Night:
Friday, October 31 at the Sumney Tavern

The Stone Angels will be Bill Moos and Miles Adams on the vocals, keyboards and drums respectively plus Chris on guitar, keys and voice on Halloween night. This outstanding trio provided much mirth on the past 3rd of October. We will bring the party out into the restaurant area of the Sumney for extended activities including dancing and prizes for best costumes.

It was great to have so many St. Rose people with us on the 3rd. I'd like to thank them all personally, starting with Mr. Jim Hasson, winner of the golf tournament and inspiration for much Steve Winwood and Traffic music. Also Mrs. Paula Scott, who never fails to spread the word with regard to the Sumney get-togethers.  Click here  for more thank-yous, and if I forget someone, I will do my best to remember you next time. As a matter of fact, I'm thinking of starting a photo gallery, just for this purpose. A proper website would include pictures, wouldn't it? OK, a word to the wise!

Also from Epiphany, Pat and Bob Fitzmyer: We will need more Epiphany people on the 31st to fill the bigger room, and Bill and I will contact our grade school friends from 'way-back-when.

Miles Adams attracts lots of local beautiful people, including Holly the drummer. I will work on Get Off My Cloud, and maybe we can convince her to join us for a rousing rendition. May we hope for some cross-over activity from Miles' other outstanding band "Where's Pete"? We'll see.

I'm told the prizes will be quite impressive on Halloween. According to Dorothy's official Sumney Tavern Halloween poster, the prizes feature:

Best Costume: a free One-Hour happy-hour Buffet Party for you and 19 of your closest friends.  Most Creative: a $75 Gift Certificate.  Judges Award: a $50 Gift Certificate. The Giveaways and Drawings will be at Midnight and you must be present to win. This is serious business. I have been proposing that costumes are optional, but it appears that just wearing one can be beneficial . . .

Next up: Night before Turkey
Thursday, November 26 at the Sumney Tavern

We'll be back. No prizes but the party itself on the night before Thanksgiving, but geez, this is one of the best of the year, so let's plan on meeting at the Sumney.
