Your host
You will be speaking Spanish after the first session. Each workshop is designed
and will be implemented via the communicative approach of second language acquisition.
Topics covered: greetings, personal information, weather/seasons, telling time, asking for and giving directions, shopping,
clothing, the body, eating at a restaurant, expressing needs, wants and desires, the home/household items, leisure activities,
travel, and geography
Culture: You will receive important historical information about the perspectives, products and practices of the Spanish-speaking
world.
Workshop fee: $200.00
Fee includes five sessions 2 hours daily, workshop materials, a two-pocket folder, handouts, a Spanish/English dictionary,
target language refreshments will be served daily, and you will receive an art print from Cisco the Artist.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to
Open Hand International "Healing Waters Project", a non-profit organizationcommitted to helping and educating children in the
Dominican Republic and Haiti
