I am excited to be joining the RKA community and am looking forward to working with everyone towards a successful year.  I am coming to RKA from I.S. 192 Piagentini and Jones in the Throg's Neck section of the Bronx, where I taught English from September of 1999 until June of 2008.   I recently obtained New York State certification as an educational technology specialist and will be teaching three technology courses this year.

 

I live upstate with my wife of six years, our three year old daughter and son, who was born this summer.

 

My hobbies include hiking, camping, and creative writing.  I ran track and cross country in high school.  Although, as you can probably tell from my picture, it's been a long time since I've gone for a run.
