Hi, my name is Traci Sandin Fenstermacher and I would first like to thank you for visiting our site. I am proud
to say this is our second year of operation for Hill Age Group Diving. I currently run, instruct & coach
HAGD club along with coaching diving for The Hill School and Perkiomen Valley High School. I earned a B.S.
degree in Health & Physical Education from West Chester University and my passion for the sport of diving remains
strong.
My personal diving experience includes: DuBois YMCA diving team, DuBois High School diving team, West Chester
University (WCU) diving team and various professional diving shows in the United States & Taiwan. While
at WCU, my training was under US Olympic coach Dr. Ronn Jenkins, a long time and much respected diving coach
with whom I maintain regular contact to enhance my coaching skills.
My 16+ years coaching experience includes The Hill School, Perkiomen Valley High School, DuBois High School and
various summer programs including Boy Scouts and summer leagues.
When away from the pool, I enjoy spending time with my husband Jeff, our two cats Little Man & Pookie and our cockatiel
Harry. My hobbies include grooming dogs and I enjoy diverse outdoor activities such as camping and walking. I
also have to say I am very fortunate to have a family that supports me in my decision to coach the sport that I enjoy so much,
diving!
Assistant Coach - Perkiomen Valley Alumni Diver
Hello, my name is TJ Kuhn. I am 17
and finishing up at Perkiomen Valley High School, where I was a varsity diver for the last three years. I switched from
basketball to diving when I was a sophomore, after years of spending my summers on the boards at Skippack Pool trying to impress
girls. Since joining the team, I have been a two-year captain, a two-time district qualifier, I was twice named to the
Pottstown Mercury All-Area Team, twice named First Team All-Conference in the PAC 10, received the PAC 10 Citizen-Athlete
Award my senior year, was presented by Coach Traci with PV’s Outstanding Diver Award, and climbed to 4th on the storied
list of PV all-time scoring leaders in diving.
I dove
only one year under Coach Traci, but thanks to her, my senior season was my best. She took the whole team back to the
basics of boardwork and body control, and revamped our group into perhaps the most powerful diving squad in the conference.
She brought about vast improvement in my fundamentals and helped me complete a very solid season.
When I’m not on the board, I enjoy coaching youth diving and basketball, playing ultimate frisbee, taking skimboarding
trips to the shore with friends, or settling down under a blanket to watch the Batman anthology with a hot cup of tea.
Next year I am off to the University of North Carolina Wilmington to study Film Production and spend my free time at the beach.
I intend to continue my diving career there, and when I am done, I hope to get back on the boards as often as possible to
continue feeding my diving addiction for life.
