Camp Director - Head Coach

100_0901.jpg

Hi, my name is Traci Sandin Fenstermacher and I would first like to thank you for visiting our site.  My current duties include Hill Age Group Diving Club director and diving coach for The Hill School since 2005.  I earned a B.S. degree in Health & Physical Education from West Chester University and my passion for the sport of diving remains strong.

My personal diving experience includes:  DuBois YMCA diving team, DuBois High School diving team, West Chester University (WCU) diving team and various professional diving shows in the United States & Taiwan.  While at WCU, my training was under US Olympic coach Dr. Ronn Jenkins, a long time and much respected diving coach with whom I maintain regular contact to enhance my coaching skills.

My 15 years coaching experience includes The Hill School, Perkiomen Valley High School, DuBois High School and various summer programs including Boy Scouts and summer leagues.

When away from the pool, I enjoy spending time with my new husband Jeff, our two cats Little Man & Pookie and our cockatiel Harry.  My hobbies include grooming dogs and diverse outdoor activities such as camping and walking. I also have to say I am very fortunate to have a family that supports me in my decision to coach the sport that I enjoy so much, diving!

My name is Natalie Mannino, I’m nineteen years old and a freshman at Gettysburg College. I attended The Hill School as a boarder for four years. When I was younger, I was a gymnast for eight years with the Metzler's Gym-Bees. I competed until level 8 and I particularly enjoyed the uneven bars. I carried much of the discipline and training I learned from gymnastics and used it to succeed in other sports. I became involved in field hockey, track/pole-vault/triple jump, lacrosse, and eventually diving.

Thankfully, Mrs. Fenstermacher revived the diving program at Hill, which was practically nonexistent before her arrival. I started diving in my junior year because I thought I would do very well due to my gymnastics background.  I succeeded and enjoyed diving so I continued into my senior year.  Unfortunately, Gettysburg College does not offer diving, so I look forward to revisiting diving this summer as an assistant for Hill Age Group Diving.

Other than sports, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, volunteering with children, and cooking.
