I was a religious for 40 years and served in Fiji in the South Pacific. Upon
my return to the United States I became involved with computers, and in particular, databases. I felt that we were older,
fewer, and needed to do more with less to change the world.
That is still my commitment and how I see myself participating in mission.
I bring to the task an understanding of the unique informational needs of religious
and an understanding of their organizational structures and the ways in which they can use information relative to their lives
and ministries. I also understand the uncertainties they sometimes feel in relation to technology. I lived 21 years without
TV, nevermind computers, so I know what it is to have to adjust to a new world. But with God's grace, all is possible. Isn't
that right?
