I wanted good quality strings for the vintage bows that I collect, buy, sell, and trade, so I decided to make them myself.
Since then, I started making them for friends, and they keep wanting more. I strive to make each one to my own personal standards
so you get a string that is not only a good performer, but is attractive, and made just for you and your bow.
I use B-50 and B-500 Dacron. Sorry guys, I don't mess with any other materials right now.

I sometimes will need specific details to create one the way you like it, or you can provide me with a picture of your
bow, and just let me go to town. Most of the time I try to match colors to your bow to accent your bows highlights. If you
want something contrasting or off the wall, just let me know.
Colors currently available are: B-50--Black, Brown, Red, Yellow(gold), Tan, Green, Blue, and White.
B-500--Purple, Pink, and Orange
Current serving choices. .021 Nylon, Black, Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Brown, and White
All strings come pre-stretched, served, and ready to shoot, and I include my recommended tuning instructions with each order.

How To Order
Orders can be placed by email, but please make sure to give very specific details, and provide your contact information
in case I have any questions about the order.
rainemans71@verizon.net
Standard 3 bundle strings are $12.50
shipped in the "lower 48" ($10.00 if you pick it up from me locally or at a shoot). Accent stripes add $1.00. Padded loops
add $1.50. (If you are ordering padded loops, please discuss the order with me before placing it....you may find you don't
really need them)
Contact me for payment methods. I'm pretty easy to work with. PayPal works good, and if I know you
through one of the traditional archery sites, I'll take a check. Cash works good too.

My turnaround time is usually less than a week, but keep in mind, this is NOT my full time
"gig". Just something I enjoy doing and take great pride in, and the sales basically go to replenish my stock. Call it a therapeudic
hobby if you will. If it becomes a "second job" to me, it won't be fun anymore, so I thank you in advance for your patience.
Email is the best way, but if you need to, you may leave me a message at 410-456-6153. I will return calls
so we can discuss your string.
I use a standard draw weight/strand number chart for my basic orders.
44# and under = 12 strand
45# - 70# = 15 strand
All of these can be customized, within reason, and the possibilities are almost endless.

TUNING YOUR STRING-
-DO NOT ADD SILENCERS YET!
-Put your string on your bow with your brace height set 3/8" to ½"; higher than recommended
-Shoot at least 150 shots (it will most likely take a lot less, but I believe in being thorough) to settle your string,
checking your brace height as you go and adjusting as necessary
-While you are shooting in your string, when you notice a quiet shot, measure the brace height. This is your bow's happy
place.
-After your string creep stops, you are ready to find your sweet spot. Do this by twisting or untwisting your string one
turn at a time to find the quietest shot (this is why you measured the brace height on your quiet tuning shots)
-When you have found that sweet spot, that happy place, that quiet place THEN you can add your silencers to achieve a
whisper quiet bow.
Call me with any tuning questions you may have, and always use a bow stringer.
