School Department Employees:  Members of the School Department Employees bargaining unit ratified a one (1) year agreement with the Bellingham School Committee on Tuesday, August 12th.  The vote was 43 (yes) and 8 (no).  A total of 51 votes were cast.  The agreement provides for a 3% increase in wages retroactive to July 1, 2008.  It also establishes a Sick Leave Bank for members of this unit.
