Union Dues Increase:    At the direction of AFSCME International and Council 93, the Union Dues for Local 747 will increase $1.50/month or $.375/week.   

In addition, a motion was made and passed at the General Membership Meeting on 11/18/2008 to increase this rate by an additional $.125/week, causing the weekly dues rate for Local 747 to increase by a total of $.50/week to $9.00/week effective 1/1/2009. 

Holiday Gift Cards:  At the General Membership Meeting on 11/18/2008 a motion was made and passed to purchase $25 holiday gift cards for the members of Local 747.  These gift cards will be mailed to members by December 15th.
