The Tour De Wolf Creek bicycle ride will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012, starting at 12 noon.
Proceeds from the ride will go to support sight conservation, provide glasses for the needy, and help for the blind.
This is a fun ride for the entire family and is an awesone autumn adventure along Wolf Creek starting and finishing in
Narrows, VA.
Take your pick of approximately a 20 mile, 30 mile or a 53 mile round trip ride, or you can ride as much
of the course that you want. Enjoy the fall foilage and the serene ride along Wolf Creek nestled in the Alleghany
Mountains.
The first 21 miles are a gradual climb of 560 ft to Rocky Gap, then a 1500 foot climb over
the next 5.5 miles to the top of East River Mountain for a fantastic view, and then a downhill ride back to Narrows.
The ride will start and end at Ragsdale Football Field in downtown Narrows, Va.
Signs will mark the route and water and fruit will be provided for all registered riders.
Registration fees are $20 per single rider, or $35 for a family with a maximum of 4 , if registered by September 10,
2012. Add $5.00 per registration after September 10, 2012.
One freeT-shirt per single or family registration will be provided if registered by Sept. 10, 2012. After
September 10, 2012, T-shirts will be available for $5.00 each on the day of the ride while supplies last.
