Now heading into the final stretch...
As REA and Heritage wind to a dramatic close this week, it is anyone's guess what 4 Magies, 2 Wagners and a Plank will go for.  The prices have held relatively constant for the better part of a week.

Stay tuned!

With under two weeks left....
...the Heritage Wagner is still a relative bargain at $150,000 (without juice), when compared to the Beckett Wagner, which has hit $220,000 (without juice).  It will be exciting to follow these as they march towards completion next weekend.

Meanwhile REA's three Magies have been stuck at the same place ($16,000; $6,000 and $4,500) for about a week.  But I still expect the VG 3 to reach $20K, if not $25,000 (though I will probably need the buyer's premium to reach it, but that counts, too, obviously!)

Finally, after leveling off at an even $30,000 for most of the week, the Heritage Plank has now creeped up to $37,500.  It seems a foregone conclusion that it will reach $50,000 -- and that's my prediction without juice.

Good luck if any of you are bidding on any of these (or other) cards in the upcoming auctions.  It will be very exciting!

Follow REA and Heritage Here
Four Magies, Two Wagners and One Plank -- all 7 ending within a day of each other in just two different auction houses.  Follow the progress all month long right here on T206Collector.com.

How much will the Wagners go for?  Which one will sell for more?  Will the SGC 40 Plank sell for over $50,000?  Will the PSA 3 Magie sell for over $25,000?  Do collectors value a PSA 1 more than a clean but trimmed Magie?  All of these questions will be answered -- and if you bookmark this page, you have a one-stop shop for all of them.  Plus, you'll hear my opinions on each as the bidding continues.

So far, I am quite surprised the Beckett Wagner has hit $200,000 without juice and I am looking forward to the Heritage Plank hitting $50,000 without juice and the PSA 3 Magie surpassing $25,000.  The market for the true scarcities will just keep going up... up... up!

Mastro Deferral
I found out yesterday that Mastro has decided to sell my pre-war autographed cards in its June Collector's Classic Auction instead of this April.  Now don't get carried away.  I am only parting with four doubles:  T202 Wheat, T206 Doyle Portrait, T206 Meyers Portrait and T206 McBride.

So, if you were checking out the latest Mastro auction and couldn't find them, that is the reason why.  I was a little disappointed, but I can wait until June, I suppose.  When I get any further details, including links and lot numbers, I'll post them here.  Thanks for checking in.

Huggins & Scott: T201 Zack Wheat Autographed
Congratulations to whoever won the signed T201 of Hall of Famer Zack Wheat in last night's H&S auction (click link below):

Lot #380 Here:

This card was one of my favorite signed cards before I traded it a few months back.  To get this card for $400 (+$60 juice) is a real steal, in my opinion.  There just aren't too many of these in existence and they are drying up fast.  The influx of signed pre-war cards from the Pittburgh find (of which this Wheat is one) has created a temporary blip in supply that, I believe, has had an impact on demand -- but which way?  Have some people dropped their interest because it is perceived these cards are not so rare?  Or has interest piqued because more people are learning about signed cards?  Who's to say?

In any event, if you're the winner, and you want to drop me a note about winning this card, please send me an e-mail:  SignedT206@gmail.com

And if you lost out on this one, wait until Mastro's auction of a signed T202 of Wheat -- it is a realy beauty!
