An Interview With J.W. Morey
Click the above link to hear all about Jeff Morey's pursuit of deadball autographs. This page has been recently
updated to include images of Morey's signed Ty Cobb items that were acquired over breakfast at Cooperstown's Otesaga Hotel
in 1960. It also includes a downloadable black and white copy of Morey's collection before he consigned it to Mastro
Auctions circa 2001.

Autographed Cards on My Site
Just received a disappointing email that one of the pre-war cards I've been showing for a collector on my website was
sold to another collector without giving me a chance to make an offer. So I'd like to just take this moment to remind
anyone who checks in on this website -- especially those of you whose images I am posting -- that I'm still alive ... still
collecting ... still interested!
Basically, if you've got any interest in ever parting with a signed pre-war card, you ought to give me the head's up.
At a minimum I can help ensure that you'll be getting market value.

A couple of nice signed T206 cards
...hit the auction circuit this month:
Rube Marquard:
George McBride:
These are pretty solid examples and would make a fantastic addition to anyone's T206 collection. I actuall nibbled
on the McBride a little bit because of the added provenance of the date McBride signed the card. But ultimately,
since I've got strong examples of both, was unwilling to go meaningfully over $300. Still, tempting, tempting, tempting.....
