Published in 1914 by Leggett & Myers Tobacco Company, this set of 52 player cards (measuring 2 1/2"
x 4 1/2") featured sepa-colored images
on thin photographic stock. All cards reflect action poses containing the player's entire body and most contain
an unidentified number at the bottom.
The card featured here is of Harry "Nemo" Leibold, autographed -- based on the uneasy and faint signature at the bottom
-- probably towards the end of his life in 1977. This card is shown courtesy of its proud owner -- a T222 collector
who mistakenly thought he had a rare missing piece to his collection with a child's handwriting on it.
