Signed T201 Mecca Double Folder

Published in 1911, T201 Mecca Double Folders measure 2-3/16" x 4-3/4" and may be folded over to create an image of a second player sharing the first player's feet, with a snapshot of both players' statistics reflected on the reverse.  As such, though there are just 50 different T201 cards available, there are actually 100 players featured in the set.

I was never a big fan of the T201 set before I acquired my first one, which was of Zack Wheat, autographed by Wheat himself.  I have found that the signature on these cards interacts well with the images and colors found on T201 cards and makes me appreciate the set much more than I had before.  While a signed T205 card only moderately improves is visual appeal, which is low in my opinion, a signed T201 card is a true work of art.

"Laughing" Larry Doyle and John "Chief" Meyers double signed this double-folding double folder.  Single signed pre-war cards are so rare -- how many double signed cards even exist?

Albert Peter Leifield was known on the field as "Lefty" and signed his name A.P. Leifield on this T201 card.

I have had two signed T201 Ruckers in my collection.  I traded the first to get my signed T206 Rucker Portrait card.  It is debatable whether I would have made that trade had I not already secured a second T201 Rucker, but fortunately I did not have to make that decision!
