DAWN’S
FAVORITE ANGORA HEADBAND
(The
angora creates an extra warm and special headband)
MATERIALS
15 grams = 50 yards Angora Yarn
(Angora usually is sold in 10 gr = 33 yard skeins
so you will need 2 for 1 headband with some left over, however if you get 3 skeins of angora you will most likely have enough
for 2 headbands)
15 grams = 50 yards of Worsted weight yarn
(I
use Plymouth Encore which is 100 grams = 200 yards so you will most likely have enough for 4 headbands with the angora added
or less if you choose not to add the angora to all of them)
Size 5 needles in your choice of either straight,
16” circular, OR a set of 4 double pointed needles. You may work back and
forth on straight needles and weave the two end together when finished or work with a circular needle or set of double pointed
needles joining being careful not to twist your stitches and work in the round.
With worsted
weight yarn
Cast

Work
in ribbing of K2, P2 for
about 2-1/2 inches
Cut
