Rev. Lawrence Boadt, C.S.P., S.S.D. is a

former professor of Biblical Studies at the

Washington Theological Union in Washington

D.C., and has a Licentiate and Doctorate in

Sacred Scriptures from the Pontifical Institute

in Rome, Italy. His publications include

Ezekiel’s Oracles Against Egypt, Jeremiah 26-52,

and Zephaniah and Nahum. His is a professor emeritus

of Sacred Scripture at the Washington Theological Union and

currently is the publisher of the Paulist Press in Mahwah, NJ.

His contributions have led him to give the Thomas Verner

Moore lecture on "A New Paradigm for Jewish Christian

Sharing of Scripture” at Catholic University of America.

Fr. Boadt has also written scholarly articles published in

famous journals and references such as the Oxford Catholic

Study Bible of the New American Bible, and the Catholic

Biblical Quarterly.
