What To Do Right Now

Now is the time to get out your annuals and vegetables! Transplant your tomatoes, cucumbers, melons , squash and peppers.  Direct sow corn, beans and pumpkins.  Feed your roses with organic fertilizer - roses benefit from Epsom salts and greensand.  Apply mulch to beds.  Trim spring flowering shrubs after they finish blooming.  Leave the greens from daffodils and tulips until they turn brown.  Put out your container plants and make sure to keep them watered.
