A More Excellent Way House Gatherings
What is A More Excellent
Way house gathering? It is a gathering of hungry Christians who come together in a home for a short season to enjoy the
Lord Himself in union with His people. The Apostle Paul perfectly expressed to the saints in Rome what his desire was when
he was privileged to visit them. "I
know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ." (Romans 15:29); "...so that
I may come to you in joy by the will of God and find refreshing rest in your company." (Romans 15:32)
The Lord desires to feed the spirits
of the two and the three as well as the many. Our burden is to share a full Savior with those who desire to enjoy an intimate
relationship with Him. It is our delight to visit homes, and in four or five, one hour long Bible study sessions, over a period
of two or three days, to share the revelation of the Lord Jesus and the possibilities of our union with Him. It is up to the
host and/or hostess to decide the schedule, if any, between the Bible teachings. We do pray that our coming together will
prove to be a time of refreshing fellowship and an opportunity to establish rich and abiding friendships.
A More Excellent Way seeks
to honor the Lord by offering these house gatherings without cost or obligation to any who desire to host them. We also assume
the full responsibilities of our travel and lodging. We do not want to burden anyone in any way. It would also be our joy
in the Lord, should there be more saints interested than can be comfortably accommodated in a house gathering, to arrange
for gatherings in a larger facility, or Church in your area. When it is at all possible, we will be accompanied by our
wives.
