Figurative sculptures carved in wood or cast in bronze depicting
grace and beauty of human form. Pieces range in size from as small as 8" tall to larger than life size. In
addition to speculative works created from imagination and coriagraphed live models, much of the artist's work is commissioned
portraits and large public works of prominant people.

| Don's formal
study of art was at the State University College at Buffalo New York, the University de Siena and Scuola del'Arte in Italy,
majoring in Painting and Sculpture.
His career has been varied, including
teaching, designing and building custom furniture for home and corporations. He worked as a designer, builder, sculptor, painter,
and director for the renowned art furniture maker Wendell Castle for 23 years.
About ten years ago Don
decided to return to his first love, fine art sculpture. He built his own studio, and has since then produced many commissioned
works and a body of very personal work for several shows, winning numerous awards as well as acclaim in art circles and the
press. |

lives in the Finger Lakes Region, working in his studio every day. |
