After a long winter it is finally here. Alot of exciting things to talk about with the start of the 2009 season. What a way to start the season off then with our Marsh Creek tournament and Sam Noel's 7.55lb big bass. We had 19 members fish and fight the wind most of the day. There were 22 fish caught with a total weight of 63.10 lbs. Chris Grow showed us his skills at Marsh Creek with a winning weight of 11.64 lbs, this was his 1st tournament with Brandywine.

This 2009 season we welcome new members Steve Morella, Mike Kolachny, Aaron Liddle and Ryan Urso. What a great addition to the Brandywine family, This season has us fishing in 3 different states with a variety of both lake and tidal waters.

Our latest tournament found us heading down to the Potomac River in search of warmer water and bedding females. Most members experienced large numbers of buck bass and very few keepers. Tournament day found Ed Donnelly the only brandywine member to hit them hard. Ed weighed in the only limit of 13.41lbs. Way to get them Ed.
