Our purpose is to encourage the continuation and growth of authentic
Christian Healing in the Church today.
Our members come from a variety of variety of Christian denominations and groups.
Our basic training includes studying the healing accounts in the Gospels according to Matthew, Mark, Luke
and John. We also read three books on healing.
We pray for people in regular church services, at OSL meetings, and during healing missions and workshops.
We support the work of physicians and other health professionals, and often send healed persons to them as
testimonies.
We encourage members to be filled with the Holy Spirit, learn how to use his gifts, and allow Him to produce
good fruit in their lives according to NT patterns.
Christian healing is distinct and separate from energy manipulative techniques found in Reiki etc. which
are not to be used in OSL settings.
