It is a beautiful November day at the lodge. I didn’t get a chance to see the colors in October but there are a few stubborn orange and red leaves on the tree off the deck to give me a glimpse of the beautiful fall in the Shenandoah hills.  Yesterday was cloudy and rainy but today is windy with fluffy fall clouds low in the sky.  I love it here and wish I could spend more than two days at a time. I just get things settled then I have to return.  I am already looking forward to the next time-decorating for Christmas.
