The Freedom Bowl was played Saturday, June 13, at Cardozo H.S. Football Stadium.  The competition for the championship was hard hitting and intense.  The better conditioned and skilled Washington CHIEFS prevailed against the Maryland Nemesis 10-6.  This is no surprise since the Chiefs is the six time Minor Football League champion.
