About Us

EMRT is a group of Emergency Medical Service experienced, independent instructors who originally came together to provide the best in CPR & first aid training.  We shared a common philosophy that too much of this training was being provided by instructors with no real experience--instructors who had never performed CPR on a real person or who had never splinted a real fracture or applied a pressure bandage to control severe bleeding.  Our goal was to provide the best possible training at the lowest possible cost.  EMRT is a central contact point where a client can find an experienced, qualified instructor who is available on the client's schedule rather than ours.  For a period of several years, EMRT offered training just about anywhere in North America. In order to better serve our customers and ensure the highest levels of quality control, EMRT has decided to focus on primarily providing training in Pennsylvania. Referrals are still available in all 50 states, most of Canada, and some parts of Mexico.

We believe CPR & first aid training can be fun as well as informative.  EMRT training focuses on hands on training, not boring lectures. Some people can be overwhelmed with information in other types of courses, do poorly on the written test, and leave without the confidence they can perform the skills they have learned in an emergency. In EMRT courses we remove the pressure, increase the hands on practice time and increase the confidence level. Our professional level courses contain just as much technical information and quality standards as high as you will find anywhere but for our non-professional courses the focus is on your ability to perform the skills you will need to save a life.  EMRT uses a unique practical testing method that will give you the confidence you can respond in a real emergency.
 

Our training philosophy:

2. Training should be provided by experienced instructors with real EMS experience--not by a videotape.
3. CPR, First Aid, & AED training should be affordable.  We strive to provide training of the highest possible quality at the lowest possible cost.
