The following message is posted to give you information
about Marlene Kess who was convicted of animal abuse in NJ who is now operating in Park Slope. She has friends who enabled
her to get started again when she fled NJ to avoid doing community service. Through Google, NJAC and the Court File are easily
accessed so that you can see the truth for yourselves, so that when she begins to rant and rave about someone with an ax to
grind you can see that my messages are not made up.
To protect yourself from their unethical tactics I urge you to use the forms
I prepared for you and ask the questions I've prepared for you. I've gotten calls from
people who are actually afraid to use them for fear of being blacklisted from fostering!
If an animal that you want to adopt is sick, make them pay for the vet, wait
for the animal to be healthy and then adopt.
If you foster for them you must get paperwork and signatures at every step
down the line. They will deny everything they say - even in court.

She lost the case against KittyKind because
it had no merit and she could not prove her case. The Judge and the KittyKind lawyers all thought she was a liar and a con
artist in spite of what she says. She has a personal grudge because she lost the case and her whole life now revolves around
posting on craigslist about it. Please don't be fooled by her self-absorbed rantings and ravings in the guise of helping people.

No one from KittyKind was at the hearing and KittyKind
always sent their lawyers to the hearings never bothering to expose their faces after claiming that a contract had been signed
and then not being able to produce it (because it did not exist).
If the case was without merit (standing) it would
never have gone to court. The case was dismissed because of lack of paperwork. It's why I encourage everyone fostering or
adopting from anyone to get paperwork. I am walking you through what you need to have as proof that you are indeed fostering,
and that you have all the information you need to catch a crook.
My "Personal Grudge" is baloney. I want to let
people know what happened to me and to let them know how to protect themselves. These groups rely on the Kindness of strangers
to house their fosters and adopt cute kittens and cats that often have medical problems. In a foster situation the cat is
often adopted by the foster home. Recently another person who fostered had cats abandoned in her care. (Sept 2009)
Would this have happened if the person had filled out the forms or followed my advice?
Are they having trouble getting people to take
animals without the medical paperwork? Are they having trouble getting people to foster and take the cats to the vet on an
oral promise to reimburse them? I hope so.
How can someone make all that up? You can't. And
you can't get the NJACC or the Courts to make up documents either.
