Born in E. Taunton, MA, as has my ancestors who have lived in the area since 1623.  I, with my wife and four children reside in Lakeville, MA only a few miles down the street.  My childhood home is now under the parking lot of the Silver City Galleria, which could be why I tend to despise large developments.  I am religiously, economically and politically conservative.  I am a practical environmentalist.  Our natural resources are to be used, not abused.  Our biggest resource is our humanity.  You degrade humanity, you degrade all you come in contact with.  Being conservative does not mean being closed minded or morally judgmental.  It means being cautious and not going beyond what is needed or proven to be true. 

I started this blog basically to vent, rant and even at times rave at what I see around me.  I have blogged in other different avenues, but since coming in contact with the members of CasinoFacts.org, I have needed to say more and get it out to as many people as possible.  I am now a proud card carrying member of their board of directors.  To display the comments for those for and against casino gambling is important to understand a person's mind set.  It is a window to their thought process.  Sound bits may not give an entire picture, but helps you to know where they are at on your issue.  Mine is NO CASINO.
