Celebrating the work of Watersheds across the State of Rhode Island.

Durying the year the  major goal of the Buckeye Brook Coalition is to protect Buckeye Brook which is the natural spawning waters of Blue Back Herring and Alewives. The Coalition also is a leader in the watershed in its yearly effort to clean debris in the brook and surrounding area.

On June 21, 2008 the Buckeye Brook Coalition invited paddlers from all over the state to see first hand the treasure of Buckeye Brook. I want to thank Steve Insana, Paul Earnshaw and Bill Aldrich as well as all of the members of the coalition for taking the time to host this pleasant and educational paddle.
