The mission of the Friends of the Hunt River Watershed, “is to protect and preserve the Hunt River watershed, aquifer, and ecosystem by implementing a monitoring program and by educating the community on the importance of water quality and quantity issues”.

In April of 2007 several community members came together with the goal of protecting the Hunt River Watershed. Since then we have had many names but the one thing that has not changed is our determination and commitment to the protection of our most valuable resource.....WATER and the natural environment in the Hunt River Watershed.
