The new Suitland Community Center, located on 5600 Regency Lane is connected to Samuel P. Massie Elementary School. Suitland offers special events, workshops, drop-in programs, and before and after childcare. This facility is complete with a state-of-the-art fitness room, gymnasium, outdoor baseketball and tennis courts, and a large playground area. In addition, the center is equipped with game, computer, science, and art rooms. The center participates in the Xtreme Teens program every Friday and Saturday night from 7-10 pm. Other ammenities include a kitchen, multi-purpose room, and a conference room. A unique partnership with the Board of Education allows Suitland Community Center to better serve the entire community. Location/Directions - Located on Regency Lane in Forestville, Maryland.

From I-95 South, take exit 9A towards Andrews Air Force Base. Turn left onto Allentown Road. Turn left onto Suitland Road. Turn right onto Regency Parkway and then left onto Regency Lane. The parking lot and building are on the right.

Marlow Heights Community Center is a freestanding recreation facility. The center includes a game room, fitness room, gymnasium, warming kitchen, restrooms, storage areas, and office space. A community building, which is used for recreation activities and is also available for public rental, is located adjacent to the center. Outdoor amenities on-site include play equipment, two tennis courts, and a picnic area. Recreation programs and classes in the areas of sports, arts, fitness, dance, crafts, self-improvement, games, hobbies, martial arts, music, and do-it-yourself instruction are among the activities offered here. The center also hosts tournaments, clubs, camps, special events, workshops, drop-in programs, after-school programs, and cultural activities at different times. Pre-schoolers, children, teens, adults, and senior citizens will find a variety of recreation opportunities available at the center. In the Fall of 2005, the Oakcrest Community Center opened as a unique community Park School/Center adjacent to the William Hall Elementary School. The facility includes a gymnasium, multi purpose room, state of the art fitness/exercise room, dance room, community room, offices and classrooms. Outdoor facilities will include tennis courts, playground, soccer and softball fields, and a basketball court. Look for a wide variety of recreation programs and classes in the areas of arts, fitness, dance, computers, martial arts, creative dramatics, and sports. After school programming, Xtreme Teens activities, summer and holiday camps are highlights of the programs we offer for young citizens. Workshops, senior trips and fitness classes are among our offerings for adults. Year round Black History programs will be offered along with other seasonal celebrations. From Branch Avenue, take Branch Avenue toward Washington, D.C. to Silver Hill Road. Turn right onto Silver Hill Road and proceed 1-1/2 miles to Swain Road.
