Council, Fort Pitt District. The Scoutmaster is Rich Rode.
The Troop meets every Tuesday from 7:30-9:00 PM at the Forest Hills Presbyterian Church.

Fall Backpacking Trip -- Oct. 17-18
The permission slip to participate on the Fall backpacking trip (Oct. 17-18) is now available on the Forms section of the website. Also note that the list of equipment to take on this trip is available in the Information & Training section.

Meeting for Tuesday, September 22nd.
Just a reminder that tomorrow's meeting is a Court
of Honor. All of the awards that the scouts have earned since our May Court of Honor will be presented. All scouts are expected
to be in their Class A uniforms. All scouts
should also wear their merit badge sashes. OA sashes are not to be worn since this is not an OA event.
All scouts are to wear their class A uniforms
to all meetings until after our Spring Court of Honor in May 2010.
In addition to the Court of Honor, we will be having our last Buck Night.
Please come early and support this effort.

Linsly Permission Forms
Any scouts who are going to Linsly Outdoor Center (LOC) this weekend need to complete several permission forms required
by LOC. Please see the Forms section of the troop website. If you did not turn them in at the troop meeting tonight, please bring them with you on Friday
night.

Dates for Courts of Honor
Notice to All Scouts & Parents:
Two of the upcoming Tuesday nights
in September will be Courts
of Honor.
September 8th – Eagle Court of Honor - John Onufer and Alex Neal will be presented their Eagle Awards
September 22nd – Troop Court of Honor – we will be presenting all of the awards and advancement that the
scouts have earned since the end of May. This will include Summer Camp.
Scouts:
If you think that you are ready to advance, please
see me this evening (September 1st). The last opportunity for a board of review is September 8th.
Those scouts that are working on merit badges,
if you want to receive them at the court of honor on September 22nd, please get me the
signed blue card by the September 15th meeting or mail them so I receive them no later than September 17th .
Finally, the last
“Buck Night” will be held on September 22nd just prior to the Troop Court of Honor – Please get the assigned supplies to
the Brucker’s as soon as you can and come prepared to feed the whole family.
