Protect their paws
One trick we’ve learned over the years as pet owners is to put petroleum
jelly on our dog’s pads before we go out in the snow and even on walks on these cold winter days. The petroleum jelly acts as a barrier to the cold pavement in the absence of or in addition to boots for
our pets. They will more than likely try to lick it off, but we haven’t
had any adverse reactions to the jelly from our pets so far. Just a quick, inexpensive
remedy we wanted to share. If you prefer to get boots, or your pet has any allergies
to petroleum jelly, we can serve your needs. Visit our site for a variety of
shoes for your pet, www.passion4pets.net.
Feeling chilly…
Our
pets get just as cold as we do when it’s extremely cold outside. Their
bodies have acclimated to the indoor living climate we have given them and venturing outside in these harsh winter months
for their daily walk, though it is refreshing, can be rough on them. So that
is why our pets need to wear winter coats or sweaters when going outside. So
please make the investment in a nice sweatshirt, hoodie or coat for your canine friend.
They will truly appreciate it and enjoy their outdoor adventures all the more.
