I was born here in Pittsburgh, at St. Francis hospital, the youngest of 8 kids. We lived in a bunch of different neighborhoods,
and I got used to moving around.
I went to almost a dozen schools growing up and was a really nerdy, quiet kid. I read a LOT of books and liked bugs and
every other creepy-crawlie-swimmie-jumpy creature on God's Earth!
I didn't graduate high school because I already had an apartment, wanted to be a professional wrestler and figured I didn't
need school. God had other plans. After several years of wacky adventures, God saved me.
Then, He sent me to school. Moody Bible School to be exact, and I found out I'd need that diploma after all. So, I got
my G.E.D. and started External (by mail) Studies courses with Moody.
I'm still in school, and the stories between birth and now could fill a book! Since that will come someday later, I'll
just say I've been working at Word FM and Wpit AM since 1999, and I've been growing every day!
When I first came to work here I was working both weekend afternoons. After about a year or two I was brought up to working
Sunday afternoons and weekday evenings.
God only knows what the future holds!
When I'm not at the stations you'll find me studying Scripture, reading a book or magazine, fishing or tying flies for
fishing, tending my aquarium or making some DIY aquarium project, blogging or writing articles, working in my audio post-production
studio, dabbling in carpentry, working in my garden or maybe cooking some new recipe!
